I launched Song Bird Superhero at Comic Con.   Its a FUN adventure story for kids with positive messages.

Rosella Ava Bird (Rosie) a victim of bullying, empowers herself and learns how to fly.

She empowers herself through humor, science and singing, becoming a kick-ass superhero.

Not only does she save herself, but she she saves her little brother … and the school.

I had a blast at Oz Comic Con Brisbane as Song Bird Superhero AKA Karen Tyrrell author. I met celebrities, cosplayers, inspirational authors  … and kick-ass role models.

Song Bird Superhero’s side-kick Amy Hillcrest is a mighty girl. She’s super smart but has cerebral palsy.

Amy revels as a positive role model for diversity and disability, crushing stereotypes. Rosie and Amy both excel at STEM science: Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, showing girls can do anything.

Teachers and librarians bought Song Bird and my resilience books. PLUS they grabbed my author info flyer, promising to book me for author talks  at their  school. WOW!!
