WOOHOO! I’ve received my first DETAILED book review of ME & HER! And I’m bursting to share my positive appraisal with you.
Who reviewed my thought provoking Memoir?
Jill Smith is a respected reviewer, writing reviews for Queensland Writers Centre magazine ‘Writing Queensland’, newsletters like The Reading Stack, Pass it On, Gold Coast Writers Association mag, Write-About, and for Zeus Publications.
Jill is the author of Dual Visions and she’s won awards for her short stories. She’s a former committee member of the Gold Coast Writers Association and an integral partner of The Ten Penners writers sub-group.
What did Jill say?
She LOVED it! … Here’s a teaser snippet!
Karen should be applauded for writing this book.
It shows her darkest days researched by herself. After having had two bipolar attacks, and losing her short term memory, it must have been confronting and cathartic to complete this project. This is a must read book, as an insight into how easily life can change from normal to abnormal, and how many people around us, go through these difficulties without the world taking much notice.
Karen’s battle against ‘Her’ is a tribute to her recovery.
