I have every intention of buying the book at some point.

Karen Tyrrell came to my notice in a very unusual way. I overheard her speaking to someone when we were lunching in the same Cafe. She sounded so passionate about her cause and like a woman I would choose to have as a friend, so I made a note of her book title and Googled her.

I applaud her for all that she does to bring Mental Health issues to the fore.

Dear Karen, i am so glad that you have written about your journey. The more people have a chance to read about the struggles and triumphs of others, the less alone they feel and more understood. Often it’s not comfortable to ask the questions and we are left in the dark with our own private battles. Just today i learned of a friend who died of a drug overdose. We are just so shocked and grieved by this tragic news. He was a young man full of such humour, talent, intelligence, encouragement for others – all while struggling with his own demons and dark nights of the soul. More than ever we need to support one another. Life is precious and so brief. Thank you for writing your story and may many blessings come from it!
